A Holiday Note From My Heart to Yours ✨

Hello Reader,

As the year winds down, I’ve been feeling especially grateful.

Every week, you let me into your inbox. Into your real life. And that’s not something I take lightly. Your attention is one of the most valuable things you have, and the fact that you choose to spend a few minutes here, reading what I share, means more than I can put into words.

I started writing these emails because I wanted a more intentional kind of space. One that felt thoughtful, honest, and grounding. Somewhere you could come to reflect, reset, or simply feel a little less alone in your journey.

Somehow, that intention turned into a community. And I’m deeply thankful for it.

As the holidays approach, I want you to know how much I appreciate you. Your curiosity. Your openness. Your willingness to pause and think about who you want to be, not just what you’re doing.

Which brings me to January.

This year, I’m choosing something simple. I’m permitting myself to enjoy my time without an agenda. No big to-do list. No pressure to optimize or produce. Just space to be present, to rest, and to let the next season unfold naturally.

It’s a choice I’m making because I’m listening to my gut. And it’s a choice I hope you permit yourself to consider too.

Your Powerplay for the Week

Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is stop pushing.

Not everything needs a plan. Not every season needs goals and metrics. Some seasons are meant for presence, ease, and quiet clarity.

Three gentle reminders as the year closes:

  • You don’t need to earn rest. It’s not a reward. It’s part of sustainable leadership.
  • Space creates clarity. When you release the need to figure it all out, insight has room to arrive.
  • Enjoyment is productive too. Joy, calm, and connection fuel the soul.

Growth Goodie

I wanted to leave you with a small gift you can use now, or tuck away for when the moment feels right.

Lead Yourself Into a Bigger, Bolder 2026 is a short reflection guide with seven thoughtful questions designed to help you reflect on who you’re becoming and what you want to carry forward.

This isn’t something to rush through. There’s no right timeline. Just prompts you can come back to whenever it feels supportive.

Just a click and it is yours, no form to fill out, no email to look for.

What I'm Loving This Week

Lately, I’ve been loving being creative in the kitchen and trying a few new recipes. No pressure to get it right. Just experimenting, tasting as I go, and enjoying the process. It’s been a simple reminder that creativity doesn’t have to be productive to be worthwhile. Sometimes it’s just about play.

And finally, you won’t hear from me in January. I’m stepping away from email for the month so I can enjoy this season without an agenda and begin the year feeling rested, clear, and grounded.

I’ll be back in February, refreshed and ready to continue these conversations with you.

I’m wishing you a peaceful holiday season and a new year that feels warm, spacious, and aligned.

Here’s to gratitude, presence, and beginning again without pressure 💛

Hello Reader, I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what it means to be “strong.” Not the kind of strong people compliment you for when you’re holding it all together, but the kind of quiet strength we carry when we feel like we can’t fall apart. I’ve lived that version of strength a few times. The version where you smile, show up, push through, and say “I’m fine” when you’re not.The version where you show up with grace while privately juggling doubt, exhaustion, and the weight of...

Hello Reader, I get burned out too! I want to share something real with you today. You know I spend my days helping women break through burnout, find clarity, and step into the next level of their leadership. But recently, I’ve had to take my own medicine. Between my move to Oklahoma, heavier demands at my corporate role as I developed a full leadership development program, the heartbreak of losing a beloved pet, and the never-ending push to “keep creating,” I found myself completely drained....

Hello Reader, When the world shut down and went virtual, I had to learn—fast—how to prioritize my time. Suddenly, everything was happening at home, all at once, and it felt like there weren’t enough hours in the day to manage work, life, and everything in between. Let me tell you, figuring out how to make my time work for me wasn’t easy, but it was a game changer once I got the hang of it. Recently, I’ve been working with several new leaders who are facing a similar challenge. They’re...
